Welcome back to the latest BennyGregs update – it's been a while since we caught up!
I DID IT!! Can you believe our event on February 3rd? We packed out The Palms at Crown with over 800 people, and it was a massive hit. To say that I am proud of a show 22 years in the making is an understatement. This was not possible without my creative team, stage team, backstage crew, sponsors and support from the AMAZING family that i have around me. thanks to our awesome sponsors, collaborators, staff, crew, and all the incredible performers.

So, what else is new? Well, we've been busy over at BG Community, cooking up some cool programs and kicking off our first events last weekend. Our dinners are going strong, and our BG Community live sessions are buzzing, especially with the addition of BGID and BG Buddies. It's shaping up to be an epic year for nurturing young talent across Victoria. We currently have just under 150 members and will be providing 45 events for the 2024 calendar year.
On a personal note, things are pretty exciting too. The BennyGregs® brand is booming, and I'm finding myself onstage or in front of a mic more often than ever. Hosting the Whittlesey Youth Festival was a highlight, and there are plenty more awesome events lined up this month.

Finding balance has been a bit of a challenge, but I've been leaning on the Headway app for daily inspiration. Throw in some morning meditation, grounding exercises, and afternoon journaling sessions, and I'm feeling pretty grounded.
ALSO - i am hosting a PODCAST with the team at Cartel Australia. Record Straight is a podcast for emerging, developing and independent artists and musicians, created by BGCOMMUNITY and Cartel Australia. Record Straight shines a light on topics of platform growth, community building, repeat listenership, artist expectations and the building blocks for a project, inspired by real-world experiences in the Australian Music Industry.
